About

Me in the summer of 2024 in Rome.

¡Hola!

My name is Alberto, and I’m a guy from Spain, born in the small city of Córdoba. I’ve always considered myself a curious person. I’ve never had a clear idea of what I want to do with my life—and I still don’t.

I first discovered computers as a source of entertainment. For a while, I dreamed of becoming a sports journalist because of how much I loved football (yes, very Spanish of me). But eventually, programming found its place in the equation, and I started teaching myself.

Since 2020, I’ve been working independently with clients from different parts of the world. I won’t say it’s easy—because it isn’t—but so far, I’ve managed to make it work. In 2021, after getting through the pandemic, I traveled around Latin America. In 2022, I explored Asia, and in 2023, I went back to Asia. Traveling has always been one of the things that excites me most in life, and it’s amazing that I’ve managed to make it happen.

For some time now, I’ve been taking the idea of putting myself “out there” more seriously—sharing my ideas with others and creating my own projects. That’s why I started Cantimplora Studio, a tiny studio focused on building conscious technology and curating content from the weird, wide world.

Besides creating products and traveling, one of the things I’ve always loved is photography. If you’d like to know more, I wrote an ode to photography here on my blog. One of my photos was even selected for an exhibition in a small gallery in Athens. I’ve always enjoyed observing the world and capturing things that catch my attention, and I hope to keep doing it for many more years.
